Maintenance Engineer

I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic manufacturing company based near Stoke-on-Trent. We are in need of x2 Electrically biassed Maintenance Engineers. This will be a varied role with lots of different types of manufacturing equipment to get stuck into. Plus, plenty of overtime to bump up the pay packets.

My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their double days shift at their site in the UK. Please read on if this sounds like an ideal position for you.

• £43,500 (rising to £46,000)
• Company Pension.
• 25 holidays + Bank Holidays.
• Early finish Friday.
• Free Parking.
• Training and Progression.
• Overtime at premium rates. (x1.5, x2).

• Double day shift 6-2 / 2-10
• Fault finding during production.
• Planned and Preventative maintenance.
• Assessing need of spare parts.
• Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in a good working and clean condition.
• Documentation and records that comply with company policy.

• Apprentice trained.
• Relevant engineering qualification. (NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3, HNC).
• Electrical qualifications. (17th edition / 18th edition).
• Previous experience in similar role.
• Basic PLC understanding
• CNC knowledge. (advantageous).
• Experience with industrial machinery.
• Any mechanical experience would be a plus.
