Location:

Middlesborough, North East
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 plus excellent benefits

Are you looking to build your experience in COMAH-regulated, high-hazard environments where strong safety culture and leadership really matters?

Do you enjoy being on site, working closely with operations and contractors to drive safe behaviours in complex, high-risk settings?

We're supporting a leading business in the chemicals storage and energy infrastructure sector to recruit an Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Advisor, working across two key sites in the North East.

The organisation supports a range of high-hazard industries and places health, safety and environmental performance at the centre of its operations.

The successful HSEQ Advisor will:

Providing a strong and visible HSEQ presence across both sites, supporting the development of a positive safety culture.
Leading and participating in site inspections, audits, risk assessments, permit to work checks and safety observations.
Supporting incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
Supporting process safety activities, management of change and emergency response exercises.

The successful candidate will have:

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) with a good working knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
Experience gained within a high-hazard or process safety environment would be advantageous.
Confident working on site, engaging with operational teams and contractors.
Experience in environmental management, waste management or bulk liquids storage would be beneficial.
Full UK driving licence required.
Willingness and ability to undertake a physically active role, including working at height and climbing atmospheric storage tanks.
