We are seeking a JUNIOR CAD ENGINEER

We are a busy, thriving manufacturing facility in the Birmingham area, a market leader with a reputation for quality and innovation.

We’re seeking a Junior Technical CAD / Product Development Engineer to join our growing design and development team. You’ll play a key role in turning ideas into beautifully engineered products, supporting our in-house manufacturing process and contributing to the details that define luxury

Commutable from Birmingham, Handsworth, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Smethwick, Moseley, Hall Green, Aldridge, Hockley, Quinton, Solihull and Minworth

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop products using CAD (Auto Desk Inventor).

* Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications.

* Collaborate with production to optimise designs for manufacturing.

* Check technical drawings and support the shop floor team.

* Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and detail

Requirements

* Good CAD knowledge (Auto Desk Inventor preferred, but not essential)

* Knowledge of metals and machining processes.

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Team player with excellent communication skills.

* Understanding of GD&T principles.

* Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar) though not essential

* Experience in machining, BOM creation, and technical documentation, would be nice, but again, not essential
