NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a Document Controller for our client, a global industry‑leading power technology company working on a major renewable energy project in Ipswich.
Location: Bramford / Ipswich
Duration: 12‑month initial contract
Contract position:
- Managing the project contract deliverables using the document management tool throughout the project lifecycle.
- Allocating document numbers.
- Creating placeholders.
- Setting up supplier packages.
- Conducting QA checks on deliverables.
- Managing review workflows in line with project timescales.
- Distributing workflow comments – client, suppliers, internal.
- Hard‑copy submissions to site.
- Submission of As‑builds.
- Interacting with the wider project team.
- Supporting the Document Control team.
- Contributing to continuous improvements.
- Communicating with external stakeholders.

IT Systems:
Microsoft Office, ACC, Aconex, EDMS, Share Point
Communication and reporting skills
- 2‑year+ document control project experience
- 2‑year document management systems experience
- Quality aware
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Be location based
- Document / Configuration Control training
- Good standard of education
- Engineering or Project Management Degree or equivalent qualification
