Engineering Team Leader

A large food and agricultural company are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join and leading their engineering team. This role offers the chance to lead & drive innovative engineering projects, and make a tangible impact on operations. You will be responsible for leading engineering maintenance, managing projects and leading a team of engineers.

Salary £45,000 to £50,000 plus £1100 shift allowance & Benefits.

Shifts:

Week 1:

Monday – Friday
-06:00 – 15:30

Week 2:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
-06:00 – 15:30

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects across the site.
• Implement and maintain engineering best practices to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage, motivate, and mentor a dedicated team of engineers.
• Identify and resolve recurring faults, improving equipment reliability.
• Coordinate equipment servicing and maintenance with external service providers.
• Participate in the on-call rota to provide essential support during maintenance emergencies.

• Proven experience in leading or managing a team effectively.
• Strong leadership skills, fostering teamwork and positive workplace culture.
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in the agricultural or food industry is advantageous.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
