Engineering Team Leader

Position: Engineering Team Leader (Permanent)
Location: Stonyford

A leading food manufacturer are seeking a Engineering Team Leader, to join there site in Ower. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of engineering projects, Implementing and maintaining engineering best practices and processes across site. You will have a strong engineering background with experience of leading an engineering function.

Shift Pattern for the role:

Week 1:
Monday – Friday 06:00 – 15:30

Week 2:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 06:00 – 15:30

Salary £45,000 to £50,000 plus Benefits.

What You Will Do:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring smooth operations.

- Implement and maintain engineering best practices and processes across the site.

- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers to achieve success.

- Improve equipment reliability and eliminate recurring faults.

- Manage equipment servicing and maintenance with external service providers.

- Participate in an on-call rota, alternating weekly to provide essential support.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience in leading or managing a team, with strong leadership skills.

- Ability to foster open communication, teamwork, and a positive work culture.

- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications at Level 3.

- Experience with in the agricultural or food industry is advantageous.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving improvements.
