An established environmental and remediation consultancy is currently working exclusively with us to appoint an experienced Waste Assessor in Manchester Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now seeking a Waste Assessor who can take ownership of waste assessment activities and play a key role in shaping project outcomes.

The successful Waste Assessor will be responsible for leading waste classification and assessment across a diverse range of sites, from early-stage site appraisal through to remediation and validation. You will prepare, review, and manage Materials Management Plans, waste recovery strategies, and supporting technical documentation, ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation and best practice guidance. You will have the opportunity to work closely with internal project managers, engineers, regulators, and clients, providing clear advice on waste reuse, treatment, and disposal options to support efficient and compliant project delivery.

Waste Assessor, Candidate Requirements:
