An established environmental and remediation consultancy is currently working exclusively with us to appoint an experienced Lead Waste Assessor in Leeds Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now seeking a Lead Waste Assessor who can take ownership of waste assessment activities and play a key role in shaping project outcomes.

The successful Lead Waste Assessor will be responsible for leading waste classification and assessment across a diverse range of sites, from early-stage site appraisal through to remediation and validation. You will prepare, review, and manage Materials Management Plans, waste recovery strategies, and supporting technical documentation, ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation and best practice guidance. Acting as a technical authority, you will work closely with internal project managers, engineers, regulators, and clients, providing clear advice on waste reuse, treatment, and disposal options to support efficient and compliant project delivery.

Lead Waste Assessor, Candidate Requirements:

• Experience with in remediation/waste classification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Live in the North West or happy to travel across the North West with the role
