Location: Broughton (on‑site)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 4.5‑day working pattern (between 7am-7pm)
Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)
IR35: Inside
Pay: £23.84 per hour PAYE / £31.90 per hour Umbrella
Join a team shaping the future of aerospace manufacturingWe're excited to partner with Airbus to offer an opportunity for a Quality Conformance & Lineside Engineer within their Quality Development Programmes & Major Industrial Projects team in Broughton.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality improvement, problem‑solving and supporting world‑class manufacturing. You'll play a key part in ensuring product safety, industrial excellence, and the continuous improvement of processes that support aircraft modification, development and serial production.
What you'll be doing Champion quality standards- Apply and deploy APQP and quality frameworks across major industrial programmes.
- Support Production Organisation Approval (POA) activities, helping maintain the highest levels of product safety.
- Lead and facilitate FMEAs across design, process and machinery.
- Create and update Control Plans and support Key Characteristic (KC) and Critical Item (CTI) cascades.
- Plan and execute Production Process Verification (PPV) to validate routings and ensure robust manufacturing processes.
- Ensure the full quality industrialisation of Major Mods, STEP Mods, Incremental and Full Developments, and major industrial transfers.
- Provide lineside support during test campaigns and Start of Production phases.
- Forecast Cost of Non‑Quality and support improvement or mitigation activities.
- Feed quality considerations into risk reviews, planning and multi‑functional stakeholder discussions.
