Process Engineer

Our client, a renowned company in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Glascoed. This role involves critical tasks associated with manufacturing processes within the defence industry. As a Process Engineer, you will contribute to the development and optimisation of manufacturing systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in all activities.

• Developing and optimising manufacturing processes in alignment with industry standards and regulations
• Analysing process data to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure process integration and alignment with project goals
• Conducting risk assessments and troubleshooting issues to minimise production downtime
• Providing technical support and expertise to the manufacturing team
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Documenting procedures, process changes, and performance results
• Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality

• Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of process optimisation and improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in analysing process data and metrics
• Ability to work on-site for three days a week and remotely one day a week
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain it
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification

• 12-month contract with the possibility of extension
• Three days on-site work, one day from home (Fridays off)
• Immediate start date
• Team size: 7-10 members
• Interviews to take place as soon as possible
