Position: Applications Engineer (Permanent)

What You Will Do:

- Review and design steam, thermal fluid, thermal oxidiser, and process air heating systems to meet customer needs.

- Produce detailed technical and commercial sales proposals using in-house software to select key components and equipment.

- Conduct system flow and pipework pressure drop calculations to ensure accurate application of the company's product range.

- Provide pre- and post-sales applications support to external sales and internal engineering teams.

- Complete project engineering checks and prepare commissioning specifications.

- Occasionally step into the role of Contracts Engineer to balance departmental demands and maintain familiarity with procedures.

What You Will Bring:

- A minimum of HNC or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.

- Experience in a compatible industry or with a manufacturer of related equipment.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

- A proactive attitude with the ability to balance multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
