A leading engineering consultancy specialising in air leakage testing, air pressure monitoring, and sustainability solutions for the construction sector is expanding and is now seeking a skilled Level 2 Air Tightness Engineer to join their growing team.

This position offers exceptional flexibility - you can be based near Leeds or work remotely across the Midlands, Yorkshire, or the South East. You'll be responsible for conducting air tightness and leakage tests on commercial developments to ensure full compliance with UK building standards.

• Conducting air tightness and air leakage tests on commercial sites

• Planning, preparing, and executing testing methodologies

• Transporting, assembling, and calibrating testing equipment

• Communicating effectively with site teams and clients

• Gathering, analysing, and interpreting test data

• Producing clear, detailed technical reports

• Offering remedial guidance following unsuccessful tests

• Proven experience in air tightness testing

• Strong knowledge of current building regulations, Eco Homes, and the Code for Sustainable Homes

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities

• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Travelling to commercial construction sites

• Setting up and calibrating test equipment

• Liaising closely with clients and site personnel

• Producing accurate reports and providing technical recommendations
