The Opportunity
We're recruiting an experienced Project Engineer for a long-term temporary assignment supporting major capital and manufacturing projects within a regulated production environment.
This role will focus on the end-to-end integration of new process and equipment, working closely with site teams to ensure seamless installation, validation, and start-up - all while keeping live manufacturing running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in delivering capital projects, including:
Supporting capital deployment across manufacturing sites
Participating in FAT and SAT alongside engineering teams
Preparing installation plans and leading full equipment validation
Owning the integration and vertical start-up of new equipment
Ensuring training plans and competency assessments are completed
Minimising disruption to ongoing operations during integration activities
Supporting equipment documentation, process parameters, and operator training
Providing technical support during ramp-up to maintain long-term capability
Driving OEE targets, equipment performance, and continuous improvement
Identifying opportunities to improve integration processes and methodologies
Ensuring all equipment meets EHS requirements, international standards, and company policies
Leading equipment operability performance and minimising downtime
Supporting maintenance strategies, centre-lining, and reliability programmes
Coordinating smooth handover to Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running:
Proven experience as a Project Engineer within manufacturing
Hands-on experience with equipment installation, validation, and start-up
Experience working in regulated environments (medical, pharma, food, automotive, etc.)
Strong understanding of EHS and compliance requirements
Confident working cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality
Practical, organised, and comfortable working in live production settings
