Technical Manager; Mechanical Bias

I am pleased to present an opportunity for a Mechanically Bias Technical Manager (Principle Mechanical Engineer) based in Manchester working for a prestigious organisation, on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring that safe systems of work for all mechanical services on the estate

Accountable for ensuring that mechanical installations are properly installed, by competent persons, and commissioned adequately, with relevant certification and sign off.

Responsible for all Mechanical and Gas records

Develop and establish maintenance programmes for the organisations specialist systems, providing detailed reports to the Head of Building Services & Engineering

Ensure that all systems, designs, procedures, works and services delivered comply at all times with statutory Health & Safety legislation

Essential Requirements:

Experience in Managing teams of Engineers, ideally mechanically biased

Mechanical or HVAC qualifications (minimum level
3)

Technical knowledge on gas, pressure systems, air conditioning & HVAC

Experience with statutory compliance
