We are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business operating in a highly regulated and technically demanding sector. The company designs and produces specialist products for commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, supplying customers across multiple markets. Safety, compliance and quality are fundamental to how the business operates, with strong systems and standards embedded across manufacturing and operational activities

Role:

• Lead the company's health and safety strategy and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice
• Develop, implement and review SHEQ policies, procedures and safe systems of work
• Conduct and oversee risk assessments, method statements and task-based risk reviews
• Manage environmental compliance, permits and reporting obligations
• Monitor environmental impacts and implement mitigation and improvement measures
• Own and maintain the company's Quality Management System
• Ensure effective implementation of ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards)
• Demonstrated experience in a SHEQ / HSEQ management role
• Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence, challenge and support at all levels of the organisation
