My client have been successfully manufacturing for years in Birmingham. They supply mainly into the health industry amongst other industrial sectors. The types of machines you will be working on as a mechanical maintenance engineer on a day to day basis will be large industrial machines. Good hydraulic experience is required as a maintenance engineer. Fabricating experience is advantageous for this position.

Experience required for the mechanical maintenance engineer:

5 years experience working as a mechanical maintenance engineer ideally within heavy industry
Ideally level 3 and apprenticeship served but would also look at level 2 if experience is within a similar environment
MUST have experience with hydraulics, gearboxes, conveyor, cylinders
ideally be able to fabricate/weld for the mechanical maintenance engineer
