An exciting opportunity for a West Midlands based Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of Environmental Consultants, has presented itself. This opportunity allows for technically challenging and industry leading work on a variety of projects.

This Senior Geotechnical Engineer position will involve a variety of roles and responsibilities. This includes overseeing all site and report work, managing contracts, communicating with clients, tendering, overseeing griund investigations, completing desk studies and interpretative report writing & reviewing. You'll be in an excellent initial position to move into a managerial role, should you wish, taking on business development responsibilities and overseeing aspects of the company.

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer position requires:

• Familiarity and experience with UK site investigation techniques.
• Extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes relating to contaminated land.
• A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering or a similar, relevant subject.
• Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
• Commutable to Birmingham.
• Proactive and able to work in high pressure situations.
