An established and growing renewable energy business is seeking a motivated and organised Operations & Maintenance Project Manager / Asset Manager to join its expanding team in Cornwall.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward‑thinking organisation delivering Solar PV and Wind Turbine projects across the UK. The company provides a full in‑house service from design and build through to long‑term asset management and operations.
The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and managing operational renewable energy assets, ensuring sites are maintained to the highest health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and review performance of operational renewable energy sites via online monitoring portals
- Identify faults and system underperformance, diagnosing issues and coordinating solutions
- Review site inspection reports and provide technical feedback
- Collate operational data and manage compliance schedules
- Prepare and issue performance reports to clients following inspections or fault identification
- Provide performance analysis and recommend operational improvements
- Liaise with clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), landowners, engineers, and external consultants
- Coordinate with O&M teams and track progress of remedial works
- Minimum 1 year's experience working on the operation of commercial Solar PV systems
- Methodical and process‑driven approach
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Solution‑focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CAD experience
- Broader renewable energy industry knowledge (Solar PV and/or Wind)
- Degree qualified in Renewable Energy, Engineering, or similar discipline
- Competitive salary (£25,000 - £35,000 DOE)
