Intro

We’re seeking an experienced electrically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a renewable energy plant in the Cowdenbeath area. As the Multi Skilled Technician you will be responsible for pre planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical plant around the facility to ensure maximum plant availability and minimal downtime.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant’s electrical systems. Key duties include:

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets including HV/LV equipment, motors, generators, pumps, PLCs, and associated systems

* Fault-finding and troubleshooting to reduce downtime and maintain plant availability

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise performance and efficiency

* Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

About You

* Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering plus relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent)

* Experience with in power generation, heavy industrial, or similar engineering environments

* Strong hands-on experience with motors, drives, switch gear, pumps, and electrical fault-finding

* Basic mechanical understanding is beneficial

* Proactive, solutions-focused, and safety-conscious
