Job Description

Playground Supervisor (7/30166) (Fixed Term)

Twynholm Primary School

Salary: £5,590.43

Twynholm Primary School is looking for a Playground Supervisor working 9.75 hours a week across the 5 days. Over 38 weeks covering school term time.

Responsibilities
  • Be a team player, able to use your own initiative, and have experience in working with young people.
  • Work in all weather conditions and encourage young people to interact with each other through play.
  • Set up and decant playground games; assist in the dining room when necessary.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Experience in working with young people; ability to work as part of a team; good initiative.
  • Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children: PVG Scheme requirement; join or update PVG prior to formal offer of employment.
  • Applicants who have resided outside the UK in the last 5 years will require a police record check from the police authority in the country or countries of residence, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check.
  • This post is fixed term until July 2026. May be suitable for secondment with agreement from line manager prior to applying.
