• Maintain high standards in teaching and learning.
• Coordinate support packages for pupils with Additional Learning Needs.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all students.
• Provide quality pastoral care and foster an inclusive and engaging environment.
• Lead in delivering an Area of Learning Experience aligned with the new Curriculum for Wales.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and behaviour management skills.
• Positive and inclusive attitude towards diversity.
• Ability to relate well to vulnerable or challenging young people, work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving ability.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
• Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures, creativity in supporting vulnerable youth, organizational skills, and professionalism in maintaining relationships.

Fluency in Welsh is required; applicants without this skill will receive full support to achieve proficiency on appointment.
