Responsibilities- Maintain high standards in teaching and learning.
- Coordinate support packages for pupils with Additional Learning Needs.
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all students.
- Provide quality pastoral care and foster an inclusive and engaging environment.
- Lead in delivering an Area of Learning Experience aligned with the new Curriculum for Wales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and behaviour management skills.
- Positive and inclusive attitude towards diversity.
- Ability to relate well to vulnerable or challenging young people, work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving ability.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures, creativity in supporting vulnerable youth, organizational skills, and professionalism in maintaining relationships.
Fluency in Welsh is required; applicants without this skill will receive full support to achieve proficiency on appointment. We are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and adults s role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
