Nursery Nurse

Job Title: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Location: Worksop S81

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £13.69 - £14.50 per hour

Can you help children learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and storytelling?

Can you listen to each child and support individual needs?

Can you plan and supervise fun and educational activities to support their development?

Teacher Active is proud to be working with local nurseries based in Worksop, who are looking for a passionate and caring nursery assistants to support them on a long-term basis. The working days are flexible due to your availability, and the shifts are between 7.30am 6pm.

The successful applicant will be supporting children with their daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime. They will plan and lead age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years (required)
• Previous experience working in a nursery (required)
• Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for working with young children and making a difference in their lives
• Experience in personal care (feeding babies and changing nappies)
• Knowledge of safeguarding
• Driving License (preferred)
