PE Teacher

Full Time Role until the End of the Academic Year

Paid to your Pay Scale: £168.80 - £232.57 / day

ANZUK Education are working in partnership with a secondary school in South West Somerset who are looking for a PE Teacher to start immediately. This role will be a full time position continuing until the end of the academic year.

The school has a strong commitment to continuous improvement, thus making it a brilliant environment to be part of. Children are committed to learning, whilst staff are offered excellent support and professional development opportunities from a very strong and confident leadership team. They are now looking for a PE Teacher to deliver engaging lessons for students across Year 9-13. The ideal educator will bring a positive energy and a dedication to motivating students to achieve their best.

The ideal PE Teacher will:

* Have experience teaching PE across KS3- KS5

* Be either a confident, fully qualified teacher or an aspirational ECT

* Have relevant teaching qualifications for working in UK schools

* Have strong, positive behaviour management skills

* Have good knowledge and understanding of the PE curriculum

* Be organised, proactive and flexible

* Be innovative, passionate and committed to support the lives of young learners

As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities include:

* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the PE national curriculum

* To help students to develop a lively, inquisitive mind

* Assessing and reporting students' progress

* Building rapport with both staff and students and supporting students with SEND

* Continually undergo professional development provided to improve teaching practice
