EYFS​/Year 1 Teacher

Staff for Education are currently supporting a lovely Primary School in the Langwith area with their staffing requirements and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic, passionate and supportive EYFS / Year 1 Teacher to work at this school starting in March 2026 on a full time, long term basis.

• Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive and high-quality lessons across the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
• Ensuring lessons are creative, engaging and meet the needs of all pupils
• Being enthusiastic in your work and putting children's welfare at the centre of your practice
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting the individual needs of pupils within the class
• Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress in line with curriculum expectations
• Building outstanding relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues

• Have QTS or other recognised teaching qualification
• Be confident delivering both EYFS and KS1 curriculum content
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
• Have a genuine passion for working with young people
