Overview

We at Supply Desk are seeking multiple Primary Teachers in Portsmouth to support additional demand. This is a great opportunity to gain classroom experience. A dedicated Recruitment Consultant will help you find roles suitable for you and support you in gaining confidence in the classroom and building a local network.

Payment: £(Apply online only) per day, depending on experience.

• Regular work as either a daily supply teacher or a long‑term placement.
• Excellent rates of pay.
• Secure Guaranteed Pay contracts, ensuring you get paid even when work is unavailable.
• Bookings flexible to your travel requirements.
• Daily bookings at the same school if you wish.
• Pre‑books.
• A “Refer a Friend” rewards bundle – you and your referred candidate can earn up to £150 collectively.

Want something more on a longer‑term basis? No problem – we can flexibly switch you to long‑term roles or start you on long‑term placements. We pride ourselves in the quality of our service and listen to teacher feedback.

Our service is free of charge, but we do ask for compliance with Department for Education guidelines:

• Have a current DBS on the update service or be prepared to obtain one.
• Hold a teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Be a newly qualified or experienced teacher.

You will be allocated a consultant who has specialist experience within your field, ensuring you work with someone knowledgeable of the industry's needs.
