SEND Teaching Assistant - EYFS & KS2

Aspire People are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS and KS2 in a nurturing primary school environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusion and helping children with SEND, SEMH, or learning difficulties thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, or social and emotional needs
Assisting with personal care and sensory-based activities where required
Supporting classroom activities and delivering interventions
Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate :
Recent experience supporting SEND pupils in a school or educational setting
Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
