Location: Wrotham
St. George’s CEP School is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Practitioner to join our primary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-quality classroom practitioner with leadership experience to contribute to whole-school improvement and excellent pupil outcomes.
The Role- Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum
- Model outstanding classroom practice and high expectations for all pupils
- Play a key role in assessment, tracking, and pupil progress
, ensuring strong outcomes - Support curriculum development and consistency across the primary phase
- Mentor and support colleagues, including Early Career Teachers
- Contribute to school self-evaluation and continuous improvement
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and pupil well-being
- Provide leadership and operational oversight of the school in the absence of the Headteacher
, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the school and adherence to policies and procedure
- Lead or support effective assessment for learning practices
- Use data to inform planning, intervention, and impact
- Support moderation to ensure accurate and consistent judgements
- Contribute to statutory and internal assessment requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Substantial experience teaching within the National Curriculum
- Evidence of strong pupil progress and high-quality teaching
- Experience in mentoring, subject leadership, or phase leadership
- Secure understanding of Ofsted expectations and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
