The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on‑site in the United Kingdom for the Social Work program. This position is a field‑focused, practice‑based role supporting students in their field placements. Responsibilities include experiential instruction, supervision support, and applied mentorship tied to CSWE field education outcomes, rather than traditional classroom‑based course instruction.

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning and an active LCSW.
• At least two years post‑master's degree professional experience in the Social Work field.
• Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
• Local applicants only. Adjunct faculty positions are not eligible for UMGC sponsored logistical support. Applicants must have and be able to maintain their own legal status in the country in which they apply to teach.

The social work program is a CSWE accredited program offered by Salisbury University and administered by UMGC Europe. Faculty are approved by Salisbury University and hired by UMGC Europe. Faculty teach in both face‑to‑face and in an online environment using Canvas Learning Management System.
