Two (2) Per Diem Certified School Nurses

• Registered Professional Nurse – Licensed by the Division of Consumer Affairs in the State of New Jersey
• NJ Department of Education Instructional School Nurse Certificate (preferred)
• Hold NJ DOE Substitute School Nurse Certificate (at minimum)
• Hold a valid driver's license with no serious violations
• Hold and maintain valid CPR/AED certification for the Health Care Provider and Professional Rescuer
• Must be computer literate with demonstrated familiarity utilizing electronic health record systems (EHR) for school health delivery, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, wellness education, community health and social service resources, and current health issues.
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
• Exhibit personality that demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, the community, and health social service agencies.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
• Must have applicable nursing experience relative to school nursing
• Must meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

$230.00 per diem
