Year 2/3 Class Teacher Maternity Cover

32.5 hours FTC

Required from 13th April 2026

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Year 2 and 3 Teacher to join the dedicated staff at Arddleen C.P School teaching in our vertically grouped class of Year 2/3 learners. The successful candidate will be caring, highly motivated, skilled and dynamic - fully committed to the role and the wider life of the school. They will have high expectations and high standards, with a proven track record of successful teaching and partnership-working to bring to our team.

They will be a versatile practitioner, able to teach learners with different abilities and learners with additional needs. A good working knowledge of the Welsh curriculum is desirable.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Powys County Council enhanced disclosure from the DBS and will need two references before they can take up the post.
