Maths Teacher

Location: Sherburn Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum Contract: Full-Time Start Date: February 2026 or sooner

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Sherburn area. This role focuses on delivering structured, engaging lessons that build confidence and progress.

The school has a strong Maths department with consistent teaching strategies and a clear focus on attainment. Pupils benefit from targeted intervention and a supportive learning environment.

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver well-structured lessons
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching
• Prepare pupils for GCSE Maths

• QTS with Maths specialism
• Experience teaching secondary Maths
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Confident behaviour management
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
