Overview
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our supportive languages team from this summer. Languages are highly valued at Woodroffe, with significantly higher GCSE uptake than both local and national averages. Our students are motivated, hardworking, and ambitious, and their success is reflected in our position as the top‑performing school in the county for examination outcomes.
The department currently offers French, Spanish, and Mandarin through to GCSE, with A‑level provision available for those wishing to continue their language studies further. We are seeking a French and/or Spanish specialist to support the department during a period of maternity cover. This role would suit either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, with excellent support available within the department to ensure success and professional growth.
The role is offered on a full‑time or part‑time basis initially for the summer term, with the possibility of extending.

- Excellent classroom practitioner with the skills required to motivate students to achieve excellent progress.
