Welsh-Medium Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons through the medium of Welsh

• Teach confidently across all subjects

• Follow the Curriculum for Wales in Welsh-medium classrooms

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Support pupil progress and wellbeing

• Adapt teaching to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

Welsh-Medium Primary Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Fluent Welsh language skills – essential

• NQTs and newly qualified Welsh-medium primary teachers encouraged to apply
