Are you ready to lead with passion, inspire young minds, and make a lasting difference in children s lives? At Wellesbourne, we re looking for an enthusiastic Deputy Forest School Leader to support the planning and delivery of inspiring outdoor learning experiences for children. This role is ideal for someone who believes in learning through nature, exploration, and hands-on experiences. To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Responsibilities- Lead sessions when required, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating outdoor environment.
- Encourage children to explore and develop practical life skills through activities such as tool use, den building, and fire cooking.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child s needs.
- Observe, assess, and support children s learning and development, contributing to records and planning.
- Care for and maintain Forest School equipment and outdoor learning areas.
- Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to embed outdoor learning across the setting.

Located on the Wellesbourne campus of Warwick University HRI, on Charlecote Road, just off the A429. There is ample parking on-site, with a car park on campus.

Pay: £28,184 - £28,184 per Annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours:
4 days a week Monday to Friday - 38 hours (8am-6pm) or 40 hours (7:30am-6:00pm).
