A specialist PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) primary school in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full‑Time Teacher to join their team. This is a highly specialised and rewarding setting, supporting pupils with complex learning needs, medical needs, and physical disabilities.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education, with a strong commitment to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
Responsibilities- Have experience working with pupils with PMLD, SEND, or in a specialist primary setting.
- Demonstrate a caring, child‑centred approach with a strong understanding of individual needs.
- Be skilled in planning and delivering personalised, sensory‑based learning activities.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support holistic development.
- Show flexibility, creativity, and resilience in adapting teaching strategies.

Essential Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience with in SEND, PMLD, or specialist education (primary preferred).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07 % statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
