Part-Time – Monday to Thursday, 8:45am – 3:00pm
Smart Education is proud to be recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a permanent position within a welcoming and specialist independent SEND college in Aston, Birmingham. This role involves supporting learners aged 14–25, helping them access tailored academic and vocational pathways that promote independence, confidence, and progression.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting autism and behaviour needs
• Valid Child/Adult DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Previous experience working with learners with SEND
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to learners aged 14–25
• Assist with personalised academic and vocational learning activities
• Support the delivery of individual learning and support plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The college is a small, independent SEND provision in Aston, Birmingham, offering a bespoke and inclusive curriculum for learners aged 14–25 with EHCPs.
