About

The Role

We are seeking a Lecturer to join the Division of Psychology, which has a proud record of excellent research‑informed teaching. You will contribute to teaching on our suite of BPS accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as other postgraduate taught provision. You will be an integral part of the academic life of this busy, friendly Division, our Faculty, and to the University as a whole.

You will be expected to contribute to our research and knowledge exchange activities and engage with the wider research community. This role provides an outstanding opportunity for career development.

About You

As we are committed to providing an excellent student experience, we are looking for an enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a degree in Psychology, a PhD or professional doctorate in Research Methods, Cyberpsychology, Health or Forensic Psychology, and you will have or be developing a promising research profile in psychology and should have experience of teaching on BPS accredited programmes.

To be successful you will work with students as partners, using your subject knowledge, research and/or practical expertise, to enhance their experience whilst studying with us.
