Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Maths Faculty)

Scale 6 – £27,254 – £28,598 (pro‑rata). Progression to Scale 8 on completion of HLTA qualification. 8 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday, term‑time only, plus 5 INSET days.

We are seeking to appoint an HLTA to support students both in class and to deliver interventions to small groups within the school, SEND, and Maths faculty.

• Deliver numeracy and maths interventions to small groups across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver small group lessons and support students’ personalised learning programmes.
• Lead small groups and support students with SEND profiles.
• Line‑manage a small team in day‑to‑day planning and deployment.
• Provide personal care for students with disabilities and safeguard children and young people.

• Enthusiasm and a desire to learn.
• Ability to encourage students to become independent.
• Experience as a Learning Associate or Teaching Assistant.
• Knowledge of SEND profiles and how to support them.
