School Caretaker / Site Manager - Primary School - Oxford (DBS Required) Recruitment Agency:
Simply Education Simply Education is working with a large primary school in Oxford to recruit a dependable and experienced School Caretaker / Site Manager . This role is ideal for someone with strong maintenance skills and previous experience working in a school or similar environment. The school site covers approximately five acres , so a proactive and hands-on approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities (Caretaker / Maintenance Duties):
Opening and locking the school buildings each day Carrying out weekly fire alarm testing Completing water temperature checks and flushing routines Undertaking minor repairs and general maintenance Changing light fittings, bulbs , and basic electrical items Maintaining school buildings and outdoor areas Ensuring the site is safe, secure, and compliant with health & safety regulations Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site Essential Requirements:
Previous experience as a School Caretaker, Site Manager, Maintenance Operative , or similar role Practical DIY and basic maintenance skills Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude Why Work Through Simply Education?
