St Columba’s School is situated in the beautiful Renfrewshire countryside just 30 minutes
from Glasgow.
Due to promotion, we are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to lead
our very successful Department of Mathematics and Digital Literacy from April 2026. The
successful candidate will be required to teach Mathematics up to and including Advanced
Higher, and to liaise closely with our Junior School team to ensure a seamless and
progressive curriculum from 5-18. The successful candidate will be required to lead, coordinate
and allocate the work of the Department, ensuring that the School’s Values are
promoted, policies and procedures are followed, and to foster staff working in the
Department. They will also be expected to keep abreast of the latest developments in
teaching and learning, curricular issues and debate, and to ensure that a vibrant extracurricular
programme is in place within the Department.

Salary will depend on experience and will include a St Columba’s enhancement to the SNCT
scale. A generous fee discount is available, as well as membership of St Columba’s School
