Summergil House School is looking for dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference, where your skills and energy will help pupils thrive every day.

Located in Presteigne, our school offers a truly unique learning environment, set within 18 acres of fields, woodlands, a stream, lake, swimming pool, and sports hall. Children with autism and complex needs are supported to feel safe, respected, and inspired. As part of our team, you will play a key role in providing engaging learning opportunities both inside the classroom and outdoors, helping students to achieve their full potential and build lasting memories.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be:

• A SEN Superstar:
  Champion bespoke learning strategies tailored to pupil needs.
• A Resilience Rock:
  Use your confidence and positivity to inspire students.
• A Creative Collaborator:
  Support teachers with lesson planning, activities, and assessments.
• An Empathy Expert:
  Work patiently with small groups of pupils with complex needs.
• A Relationship Guru:
  Build strong connections with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• A Positive Vibe Promoter:
  Encourage positive behaviour and a supportive atmosphere.
• An Independent Innovator:
  Use creativity to bring learning to life.
• An Avid Adventurer:
  Help organise fun off‑site activities.
• A Care Champion:
  Support pupils with routines, breaks, and personal care when needed.

• At least 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
• A qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
• GCSEs in English and Maths.
• Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
• Enrolment requires an Enhanced DBS Check, including a Barred List Check.
