Drama Teacher - Hertfordshire

This role is initially available until February half-term, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate. It is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Drama specialist to inspire creativity and performance in a supportive school environment.

• Teaching Drama to Year 9 and Year 10 students
• Working Monday‑Thursday or full‑time (5 days per week), depending on your availability
• Joining a committed and collaborative performing arts department, planning and delivering engaging, high‑quality Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Encouraging students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills
• Assessing, tracking, and providing constructive feedback on student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports self‑expression and learning
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Collaborating with colleagues to support departmental and whole‑school objectives

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Drama
• Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to nurturing student talent
• Can start immediately and is open to a potentially extended placement
