* planning experience
* and a passion for rural design? Join our well-established architectural practice, renowned for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects throughout the stunning countryside locations.
We are looking for a talented architect to become part of our collaborative team. You’ll work across a wide variety of rural schemes, including bespoke homes, conversions, and commercial buildings, as well as heritage and conservation projects.
* What You’ll Be Doing:
* * Leading and supporting projects from concept through to completion
* Preparing and submitting planning applications, including statements and supporting documents with administration support
* Managing the planning process and liaising with local authorities
* Producing high-quality technical drawings and design proposals
* Conducting site visits across North Devon and the South West
* Delivering sustainable, context-sensitive rural architecture
* What We’re Looking For:
* * Fully qualified Architect with proven UK practice experience
* * Strong planning knowledge and experience preparing planning applications
* * Background in rural, residential, or commercial projects
* Excellent design, technical and presentation skills
* Proficiency with Revit is essential for a flying start (D5 Render, Sketch Up, etc.)
* Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
* Passion for rural architecture and sympathetic, landscape-led design
* Supporting in the development of our junior team members
