Design Manager

Position: Design Manager (Permanent)
Location: Sowerby

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a Design Manager with a strong architectural background or a qualified Architect looking to move into Design Management.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working at the interface of design, compliance, and construction delivery, particularly within building regulations–driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate design packages for facades remediation projects.

Ensure full compliance with current Building Regulations.

Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Review technical drawings, specifications, and design risk.

Support and mentor junior design staff where required.

Ideal Background

Architectural background (qualified Architect or Design Manager from architecture).

Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations.

Experience with in facades, remediation, or regulated construction environments.

Comfortable working collaboratively across design and construction teams.

Package & Benefits

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 basic (DOE).

Car Allowance: £5,000.

Holiday: 26 days + bank holidays.
