Full Time :
Monday to Friday, 08 : 00 to 16 : 00 to be discussed at interview.

Office based position but an expectation of weekend work on event sites either in addition or part of the role.

Annual Holiday Entitlement : 28 days inclusive of bank holidays.

The successful candidate would be subject to a three-month probationary period.

TES is a division of BUKO that delivers staffing to many events nationwide and has been part of the BUKO family since June 2021. Now, due to continued growth, we are expanding our teams with new roles to support our existing teams.

We are seeking a self-driven and pro-active individual to join our growing office team based in Maidstone. The individual’s primary role will be supporting the Event Planning team as well as the wider business with general admin work with a desire to eventually become self-managed on specific event planning

Primary Duties - after a period of training and guidance
  • Working with established clients and historical events with the planning team offering support and assistance.
  • Show knowledge and expertise to design an Event Management Plan with guidance from the experienced planners.
  • Competently attend meetings of various natures and appropriately represent the company.
  • Deliver your events covering all logistical aspects and relevant briefings and handovers.
  • Learn and adapt, in line with the company, in terms of new avenues of the events team and both support and be able sell these opportunities.
  • Use existing company software such as power point, excel, word and publisher plus a number of other software systems.

  • As well as planning your own events, you will be working alongside the other event planners throughout the forthcoming event season as part of you training and development.
  • You will receive a work laptop and mobile phone. You must be an organised, self-motivated and confident person. Professionalism and a mature positive attitude is paramount as you may be representing the business in front of major clients and stakeholders. You must be honest and reliable due to the potential self-managing aspect of the job. You will be required to, when necessary, work extended hours.

    You’ll be required to work event weekends which will be agreed prior. You must have a full driving license. Ideally you should have a good level of event industry knowledge (not necessarily in planning management) and have previously worked on events.
