Are you organised, driven, and ready to build a career delivering complex projects safely and efficiently? Join Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) and play a key role in the safe decommissioning and environmental restoration of nuclear sites across the UK.
What is the Apprenticeship?This Government‑approved Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship is a 24‑month programme designed to provide both academic knowledge and hands‑on project experience within the nuclear sector. The programme includes:
- A structured 24‑month virtual training programme with catapwlt
- Four days per week of practical, on‑the‑job project experience at the Trawsfynydd site
- Mentoring from experienced Project Management professionals
- Training in real‑world nuclear environments where safety, quality and governance are critical
- On successful completion you will achieve a Level 4 Associate Project Manager qualification (equivalent to the first year of a degree)

Working HoursMonday to Thursday, 07:25 – 17:00 (37 hours per week) with a 20‑minute unpaid lunch break.

We’re seeking motivated individuals with a strong interest in organisation, leadership and project delivery.
- Be 18 years old or older by 3 August 2026
- Have achieved 5 GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) including English and Maths
- Hold a Level 3 qualification (such as A‑Levels, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
- A willingness to learn in a complex, safety‑critical environment
- Salary:
Starting at £19,927 per year – with pay increases as you progress
