Job Title – Skilled Groundworks & Civils Labourer

To carry out skilled labouring duties in support of groundworks and civil engineering operations, contributing to the safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of projects. The role involves assisting with drainage, foundations, concrete works, and general site activities while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

• Assist with all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering activities
• Excavation, trenching, and back filling works
• Kerbing, edging, and paving works
• Supporting plant operators and trades on site
• Loading/unloading materials and distributing around site
• Maintaining site cleanliness and good housekeeping
• Following instructions from supervisors and working to programme deadlines
• Complying with all health & safety policies and procedures

• Full Driving Licence is a must
• Proven experience in groundworks or civil engineering environments
• Ability to follow site instructions
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude

Experience operating small plant (dumper, roller, whacker plate, etc.)

• Full Driving Licence
• No formal cards required
• Training will be provided where necessary

• Willing to learn and develop skills
• Takes pride in quality workmanship

Outdoor site‑based role in all weathers

Manual and physical work involved
