Hours:

45 per week (07:30 - 17:30)
Rate: 28 per hour (Umbrella)

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Civils Operative (360 Excavator Operative) to support construction works at the Pembroke 400kV Substation. This role is essential for civil works, drainage, and ducting installations as part of a major energy infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various sized 360 excavators safely and efficiently
• Install surface and foul water drainage, including oily water systems
• Install HV & LV ducting and draw pits
• Install HV & LV precast troughs
• Undertake excavations, blinding, and concrete placement to foundations
• Reinstatement of excavations including backfill and compaction
• Follow all site health, safety, and environmental procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience operating 360 excavators
• Experience with drainage, ducting, and civil foundation works
• Ability to work safely on a high-voltage substation site
• Full PPE (must be in place before attending site)

Desirable

Skills:

• NPORS or CPCS above 10 tonnes
• NPORS or CPCS below 10 tonnes
• Lifting operations experience
• National Grid Persons (NG Persons)
• Manual Handling certification

Additional Information:

• 45 hours per week, 07:30 - 17:30
• Umbrella payment only
• Temporary full-time contract
• IR35 pre-assessment completed
• CV required for submission
