Job Title: Estimator - Fit Out / Construction
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to 70,000 + Package (DOE)

The Opportunity

We are working with a growing and well-established contractor in Manchester who is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator with a strong background in fit out and construction.

This is a key hire for the business as they continue to secure new projects across the region. They are actively reviewing CVs and are prepared to offer up to 70,000 + package for the right individual.

The Role

As Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction team, preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of fit out and refurbishment projects.

You will be commercially aware, detail-focused, and confident managing the full tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
• Producing take-offs and accurate quantifications
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Supporting negotiations and client meetings
• Assisting with handover to delivery teams

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator within fit out or construction
• Strong understanding of refurbishment and interior projects
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
