With ongoing dynamic growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a fit, energetic, hardworking, and dedicated person to join our team as a qualified landscaper/leading hand working on a wide variety of projects around Tasmania.
Tasks & Responsibilities- Setting out works as per plans & details including the reading of levels & layout of projects
- Assist in organising labour, materials, machinery & equipment required to complete the tasks
- Operate machinery
- Work as part of a team unsupervised
- Construction of landscaping works which includes, boulder & log placement, concrete prep, edging, paving, compacted gravel surfaces, irrigation & soft landscaping
- Synthetic grass base prep & laying
- Be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety. Must have a working knowledge of relevant regulations & standards
- Be proactive & bring a positive & enthusiastic attitude
- Uphold the company's core values
- Report to the site foreman on a regular basis
- 3+ years’ experience in landscape construction & similar works
- MR Truck Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in operating excavators (1.8T to 5.5T) & skid steer loaders
- Cert 3 in landscape construction
- Construction Industry White Card
- Working with vulnerable children s card
- All successful candidates will be required to undertake a police check
